The Wedge in Newport is well known for its share of asskickings handed out every year when the summer swells freight train into Newport Beach shorelines. This is a good time of year to start heading down for the show as a bystander. The 25-foot circus will be in full swing soon enough but here’s a sneak peak of what these South swells morph into by the time they get to the Wedge in late spring.
