30 Years Ago with Tony Hawk and Christian Hosoi
When you think just how far skateboarding has evolved the past 40 years, you can’t NOT think about the skaters who helped get us there. Take Tony Hawk and Christian Hosoi, for example at the Del Mar Skate Ranch in the Spring of 1985. This is nearly 30 years ago, people!! And just as the kids are doing today, they busted some epic air … as you can tell by this clip, had it not been for skaters like Tony and Christian taking bowl skating to new heights, we’d never be where we are today, and for that, we thank them.
